Family Portrait Session | Meredith, NH Photographer

It seems like I start every post by saying "what a wonderful family", or something of the like. However, it is so true every time I say it. I am so fortunate to meet some of the most wonderful people and this family was no exception. With super sweet parents and two adorable energetic little girls this family is surely another on my list of people I hope to cross paths with again.

Love the flying braid!

This little one was pretty shy at first......

but not so much after ;)

♥ sisters

Probably one of my favorite shots, I just love all the things happening in it.

So sweet together! Makes me want to squeee!

{May I also offer kudos to whomever it was that completed two sets of double french braids by 9am on two girls under 5?! Woah.}

I LOVE this shot of Mom and Dad. Just look at them together ♥

As I was heading back to my car I turned around while waiting for a walk light and saw this.... glad I turned back. Caught them on the bridge admiring the water below, or searching for fishies ;)

Pam and Mike: Married 10.22.11

Pam and Mike were so fortunate to have an amazingly beautiful wedding day. The weather could not have been more perfect for late October. There was plenty of beautiful foliage left to accent their autumn themed wedding, we found an elephant (they are good luck you know...), and were blessed with the tiniest amount of rain and surprised with the quick appearance of a rainbow!

There was nothing that could bring down Pam's happiness, and boy did it show.

Pam and her Maitron of Honor. Beautiful ladies.
Her father came to pick her up from the hotel, and what a greeting!
I am telling you, this lady is surrounded by a whole lot of love!
And of course, even more love from her handsome new husband :)

Check out the awesome sandy hair on the groom's son. I think I might be jealous. They have such a beautiful group of children.
Pam soaking in the wonderful first few moments as husband and wife.

The wedding was catered by Mike's brother and was delicious.
Pam had a beautiful memorial set up for her mother who recently passed (and who Pam looks so much like). Further, Pam and her siblings along with their spouses danced together to "Sissy's Song" by Alan Jackson. Not a dry eye existed in the house, including myself. I clearly remember Mike pointing out the blubbering photographer to Pam. If you were there, you were emotionally drawn into the moment.
There were a few other special dances thrown into the mix and then it was time to.......
cut the cake!

I assure you, it ended amicably ;)
Included with the adults who could ALL dance, were several kids that knew how to bust a move.
As the evening progressed some of the wedding party and the guests headed out to sneak a peak of the surprise rainbow. Here, Pam's father shares the legend of the pot of gold with his granddaughter.

Congratulations Pam and Mike!
Thank you for allowing me to photograph throughout your special day, I had the best time and you made my first ever wedding a very fun one!

Child Portraits | Ashland, NH Photographer

More photos from one of my favorite families (can you tell my husband and I know a LOT of amazing people?). As much as I love meeting new people and families and getting to know them I get just as much enjoyment if not more out of getting to know some of the people we see all the time as families bonding and showcasing their closeness. These two girls come from an awesome family and it shows. One is a fantastic babysitter for our daughter and the other is a wonderful friend. With interests such as basketball, hockey, skating, and drums these girls are surely going to keep their parents on their toes. To add, I must say that big sister looks just like her mother and little sister looks just like her father. And both have a quiet hidden humorous side that both their parents share.

So pretty ♥

Family Session in Meredith 10.16.11

What a great morning for photos, not too much sun, but enough. I suppose it could have been a little warmer however. My very short and cute assistant was too busy thinking about what books to bring along to bother to bring the extra layer I recommended so kindly, I gave mine up and froze right along with the family. What a great time we had hanging around Mill Falls Marketplace and then heading across the street to throw rocks in the lake, I mean, finish the photo session. With Mom, Dad, and four boys ranging from just under one to just under 18 it was a blast trying to keep up with them all! Here are some of my favorite shots from the day.
