Baby A and Co.

We had a great time walking around Wellington State Park and checking out the foliage. My daughter was my assistant for the morning and offered to "drive the bus" (push the stroller). I fear the day this girl is able to learn to operate a motor vehicle. However, baby A remained safe and fearless the entire time.
Behold the D family, that is some giant lamp post....

You might remember this little cutie, her parents asked me to take her photos as a newborn after seeing photos I took of my daughter sparking the beginning of Michelle Heath Photography! Thanks for believing in me guys!

Love these shots with each of her parents, they just love her so much!

This family is just so special to me and my family, we love you guys and are always honored to photograph your family!

Family Session: Ashland 10.9.11

What a perfect day it was for family photos! We started off at the elementary school and then headed down to the town beach and covered bridge. It was a great session, they were all super easy going and ready for action. Our concentration was on back to school portraits, but we just had to get in a few family shots and a fabulous portrait of Mom. Thanks so much for a fun Sunday morning guys!

Love this family shot :)

Love these individual portraits! They all have such amazing eyes :)

Awesome family and super photogenic!

Teenagers: Keith

Recently I had the pleasure of photographing my dear friend's oldest son Keith. Since I know the three little ones pretty well this was a good chance for me to get to know Keith, who I usually only see skateboarding or riding his bike around town ;)

I think these are my favorite "Mom" photos (portraits with pose and expressions specifically for Mom).

We all know that teenage attitude (let us not forget that we sported that same personality trait at least to some degree ourselves), so we decided to embrace it and use it to create some pretty "bad" shots....

This session was a ton of fun. We were able to try out a few locations, and they even showed me a spot I have never been too (Livermore). Keith only caused a little trouble, but we were able to put him behind bars so the world is now a little safer. Though, it can't be too safe, beware of me stepping on and kicking coffees..... sorry Keith!
Many thanks to Keith and his mom for a great afternoon :)

Kaeden

Saturday was "K" day. Early morning with Kaeden, afternoon with Keith.

I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet family in Ashland this past weekend. It is very clear how much Mom and Dad adore this little guy and well, I do too! Just as Mom said, he really does love the camera and I think it feels the same way about him! Such nice, genuine, and fun people. I hope they enjoyed their session as much as I did! I love meeting awesome new people and I really hope I can work with them again in the future!

What a little man!

Fun on the slide!

Happiness ♥

Love these more serious shots....

And a couple of other favorites of the day :)

Thank you so much Kaeden and family!

A few retouches and examples for the blog..

Here are some more past favorites. I just had to post these because the site felt bare without this little blondie. These were taken in July, but after learning a few things I adjusted my processing methods to make them a little less "loud".

This one goes back to 2009, but it captures her so well and I just love it. Has to be my favorite of her, EVER.

A few examples from a family session..... I just adore these guys!
