Sarah & Jim, Engaged | Meredith, NH
One of the best things about my slow season is the ability to edit most sessions with record speed. I get so excited. I met up with Sarah and Jim for their engagement session yesterday. YESTERDAY. And I am all finished!
Enough about that.....
I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah and Jim a few months ago when they approached me about photographing their sure-to-be-amazing winter wedding this coming December. I CANNOT wait. Hopefully at that time we will have at least a pretty covering of that fantastic white snow we all remember (remember when it used to SNOW in New Hampshire???). Originally we were hoping for some today and I even showed up in gaiters, boots, and snow pants just in case (the field at our house is still covered and I often shoot on the ground......). We had a little, but not too much. Cold weather however, was in abundance and Sarah and Jim were such troopers for dealing with my really lame sense of humor and awkwardness in the freezing cold. It was so nice to get to know them and get in a little practice in front of the camera before the big day.
Thanks so much Sarah and Jim! I am so jazzed for December!

Amy & Korey | Holderness, NH Engagement Session
Korey proposed to Amy last year and in the fall we were able to catch up to do some engagement photos at the beautiful Burleigh Farm in Holderness, NH before their wedding which will happen in just a couple of weeks!
And of course, I had to get a few shots of the new friends I made!
I have known Korey for many years. He is an honorary member of my family and a good friend. I don't know many people that have the strength and fight in them that Korey possesses. Through many of life's struggles I have seen Korey go through them with a certain amount of grace and fire. He truly deserves every amount of happiness that comes his way and it is so very apparent that Amy brings an absolute overflow of happiness his way. Having only met Amy recently I am happy to see that it is so painfully obvious how happy they make each other. I am just so full of excitement for their wedding and cannot wait to spend the day with many friends and family celebrating their love.
Congratulations Amy and Korey!

Jess & Eric Married | NH Wedding Photographer
I love weddings. Especially when they are for a friend. I've known Jess since elementary school. We go back to days of walking to the store in town to spend whatever small amount of money we had on candy (who am I kidding, I still do that minus the walking....), chatting about boys, and playing Lemmings on the computer (anyone????). As we grew older, we did grow apart a bit, but thanks to the world of social networking and grocery stores, we have been able to catch up quite a bit. I was so excited when Jess asked me to photograph her wedding. I knew it was going to be both awesomely fun and really, really, cool. She was born an artist through and through. Her headpiece, shoes, flowers, and most decorations were all handmade. It was incredible. Jess and Eric had a fantastic ceremony complete with a rock-paper-scissors match to see who would read their vows first and a pinky swear to seal the deal. Friends took part as well including a reading from one of my favorite comic duos, Calvin and Hobbes. There was so much love in the air that day (as well as frigid wind which Jess and Eric braved for their first look). It is clear that they are surrounded by both great family and friends and I can't thank them enough for allowing me to be a part of their awesome wedding. Congratulations guys! You rock!
